- Fortunately, some of the best things in life are indeed free. This site will provide you with hours of entertainment and it doesn't cost a cent. It's filled with high quality animated shorts, games, and interactive media. You'll fall in love with the frequently featured bird calling southerner, Jed. Learn lessons in pole licking, and relieve some stress while torturing a fish in a tank. Even crash test an animated dummy (It turns out
you get in trouble for torturing a real one, go figure?). -

- Cat and Girl
- Dorothy Gambrell's weekly comic strip peeks into the ironic, cerebral life of its eponymous characters. Cat is not exactly Girl's pet -- they're more like roommates, stumbling through life's inconsistencies together. The stories aren't necessarily autobiographical either. The jokes sometimes veer towards the literary, but more often they're based on small, quirky observations. The strip even offers its own creation myth. It's no Garfield, that's for sure. -

- Dilbert Zone
- Who is Dilbert? A poster boy for the corporately disenfranchised, Dilbert will never make vice president. In fact, his political innocence will ensure that he'll never make it past the first rung or two on the corporate ladder. He hasn't quite mastered mundane office equipment like the paper shredder, but he can configure a network quicker than you can say "cyberspace." Unfortunately for Dilbert, that will never get him a cubicle with a door. -

- Too Much Coffee Man
- Despite what people are saying around the office, you're not an addict. You get a little huffy when the pot runs dry and no amount of aspirin will cure those caffeine withdrawal headaches--but you're really okay. There's even a site with a cartoon character to help you feel good about your little, uh, habit. Too Much Coffee Man is a little edgy, but that's just from the caffeine. On this site, you'll find cartoons, animations, screensavers, a newsletter, and some really nifty merchandise. -

- Animator vs. Animation
- Animation rises against animator in this Flash version of the little guy raging against the machine (or, in this case, the human behind the machine). The tale begins with a lone stick figure saddled with the requisite Charlie Brown–sized head. But this cartoon isn't going to kick the football. When its malevolent animator attempts to push it around, the scrappy figure stands up for its rights. It resists with every means possible, in the process wreaking havoc on the desktop, blowing up swaths of the design program, and enlisting an army of replicas to the insurrection. We won't give the ending away, but we'll just say that you may never think of the "Save changes to Untitled-1?" prompt the same way again. -
