- National Inventors Hall of Fame
- At one point there was a proposal to close the U. S. Patent office because everything that could be invented had already been invented. Definitely not so, as can be seen in the National Inventors Hall of Fame, of which the main purpose is to 'foster the inventive spirit in all of us.' The visitor will find profiles on famous inventors, explore the intricacies of the patent process, collegians can find out how to enter their creations in the collegiate inventors contest and the younger set see how to create, explore and discover their own imagination in various "Camp Inventions" located throughout the United States. Be sure to stop in one of the Invention Channels to 'find new ideas and start to see the evolution, progression, and possibly even the future on invention!' -
